Parotta is traditional south indian recipe.Its is very famous in Virudhunagar. Today we are going to see how to prepare parotta without using egg. Here we are going to use only four ingredients for making this tasty parotta. Parotta is a dinner recipe we can have with salna and non vegetarian kurma.Parotta is made using maida and it is a layered bread.Parotta is crunchy outside and soft inside we can make it as a kothu called kothu parotta.

Maximum - 6 hours
Cooking time : 10 minutes
Ingredients
Maida- 2 cup (app 500 grams)
Butter- 1/4 cup
Oil- 1/2 cup
Salt
Instruction
1.Take a large mixing bowl add 2 cups of maida
2.Add 1/4 cup butter
3.Add salt
4.Knead the maida dough for 10 minutes until it is stretched
5.Then apply oil on the dough and rest for 2-3 hours
6.After 3 hours roll the dough as mentioned in pictorial representation below
7.Then place the parotta in tawa and roast it on both side
8.Now the crunchy soft parotta are ready to serve.

4.Knead the dough for 10 minutes and apply oil on dough
5.Roll the maida dough like a thin sheet
6.Make fleets on the thin sheet and roll the maida dough
7.Place the parotta in a tawa and roast on both sides
8.Now the parotta are ready to serve
