Steamed Egg kolambu
Serving size - 4
Preparation time - 20 minutes
Cooking time - 10 minutes
Ingredients
Egg- 6 number
Tamarind- 1 lemon size
Small onion- 8 numbers
Roasted gram dal- 2 spoons
Coconut- 1/2 cup
Red Chilli- 8 numbers
Fennel seeds- 1 spoon
Cinnamon- 1 inch
Cloves- 1 number
Garam masala- 1 spoon
Oil- 3 spoon
Salt- To taste
Homemade kolambu powder- 3 spoon(or)
chilli powder- 1 spoon + coriander powder- 2 spoon
Instruction
1.First we are going to grind the masala paste for this recipe
2.Add coconut, roasted gram dal, fennel seeds, red chilli and salt into mixer jar
3.Grind the above ingredients into smooth paste
4.Take 6 egg and whisk it nicely then add the grounded masala paste into it
5.Mix everything together then pour the egg mixture in idly plates
6.Steam cook the egg idly for 10 min in medium flame
7.After 10 min take the steamed egg and cut it into 4 slices
8.Place a kadai and add oil temper with cinnamon and cloves
9.Add the homemade masala and garam masala into it and saute for 5 minutes
10.Then add the tamarind water into it
11.Adjust the consistency by adding water and then add salt
12.Finally add the steam egg slices into the kolambu
13.Now the steam egg kolambu is ready to serve
6.Whisk the egg with a fork or beater

14. Allow it to boil for 5 min and the steamed egg are ready
15.Cut the egg into 4 slices and it into the kolambu and garnish with coriander leaves
16. Now the Steamed egg kolambu is ready to serve
